Did you know that running to be the first to ‘fix your plate’ is not the only race that happens over the Thanksgiving holiday – there are now hundreds of ‘Turkey Trots’ and ‘Gobble Run’ races held across the United States! Before even lifting a fork, hundreds of thousands of Americans now start Thanksgiving (or celebrate over the holiday weekend) by giving thanks through cardio. This year we’re proud to acknowledge the event professionals that were ‘hot to trot’ and got a run (or walk) on by participating in a fun run or charity race in their local community. Shout out to these inspiring eventprofs (list below photo):

THANKSGIVING FUN FACT:
The average Thanksgiving Day meal weighs in between 2,500-4,500 calories?! This means that, doing any sort of physical activity that you can fit in over the holiday is a step in the right direction to help with ‘food hangovers’ and consumption overload!
